Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Win 8.1 Compatible?

I know it's listed compatible up to Win 7, but has anyone tried this game on Windows 8.1?
Of course, the OS has a compatibility wizard, but this game does look very vintage.
An "oldie but a goodie"?

Works perfectly under Windows 8.1. Make sure you have the latest patch (3.4) and there is an unofficial patch that fixes a couple of bugs. Hopefully, the next official patch, which is in beta testing at the moment, will be along soon.

TOAW III is a modern game with a long history. I suspect that you will be pleasantly surprised.

PS. Oh, and do not be tempted to try the Standard Rules - they will lead you astray. Dive straight in to the Advanced Rules.

Is that patch still in production as I have 3.2.29.27 and the Matrix Members states there's nothing to be updated?
