It seems that his map has been bugged, i was trying to play it online with a friend of mine but every attempt we made ended in a error. After this i decided to try this map in single player but the same error message came up over and over again. It occurs only with this map because i tried playing others and these work fine in SP as well as in MP.

Error message :

"Unable to continue play because the disk is full. Clear some space on this drive and resume close combat."

The disk where the game is installed to has 84 GB of free memory left. I am using Windows 7 and am logged in as the administrator.

Traditionally (with the original versions) the disk full error was due to a corrupt map (the actual file). Try copying the map into the folder again, or reinstalling.

Oke thanks i 'll try to reinstall the game.

After reinstalling the game, or at least trying to i got an error while installing so it seems that my install file is corrupted with a bad file.

Error message :

E:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Gateway to Caen\MAPS\Map13.bgm A decompression error has occurred (#2029) Unknown decompression error

Anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

You might go in manually and delete this file, then try running the installer again. Possibly there is some issue with overwriting the old map file.

Otherwise I suspect you'll need to re-download the installer -- or are you doing this from a disc copy?

It is the installer because i remember getting this message when i installed the game for the first time. I am not sure if i am still able to download the game because i don't have the download link anymore. I temporary fixed the problem by getting the Map13.bgm file from someone else. The problems is that if i get a new computer or new hard disk i will still have the problem.

I got the steam key so the problem might be fixed for the future.

Glad to know you were able to resolve the problem. Did you contract Matrix support about this? If not, do you recall the date you first purchased the game? I suspect something happened with downloading the installer but I want to give them a head's up in case it's a problem with the installer itself.

I found the PC download order info mail i received when i purchased the game. The date was 5/6/2014 at 7:39 PM I didn't contact Matrix because the problem got resolved.
