CW gains confidence by listening to all that good advice and place the units as Courtenay suggested.

Germany ponders on attempting to invade in Antwerp but in the end abandons that plan because they do not feel lucky. So instead they do a land impulse and get to move in Poland as well.

Japan selects a combined impulse in order to ferry troops over to China.

No port strikes. No naval air.

Japan sends out three transports that carry troops to China.

Italy remains passive and let their ships remain in port.

Japan decides to bomb the Changsha factory since their are not much else they can do. I am shocked that they actually managed to hit their target. [X(]

For a moment Poland ponders on flying air support to the Karpaty Army but in the end they decide to save their air force for the more important battle of the cities rather than on a high odds blitz attack.

Thus the attack is automatic.

The Belgium Cavalry fights valiantly but the attack is automatic. It still served its purpose well.

Germany rebases 4 fighters closer to the frontlines.

Von Bock reorganizes one Stuka and the 9-4 infantry Corps.

USSR demands Bessarabia and Germany complies. The Soviet forces on the Romanian border looks overwhelming and Germany already has to much to do at once.

No declarations of war done this impulse.

So do you try and hold Brussels with CW / French support or have you given Belgium up?

BBC news reports that Neville Chamberlain gave a rallying speach today to the House of Commons in answer to the German aggression in Belgium.

We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Belgium. We shall fight for Brussels and Antwerp. We shall fight in the Ardennes. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our allies and our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields, forrests and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender!

France and CW select land impulse.

No Port Strikes. No naval air. No naval movement. No strategic bombing.

CW wants to ground strike a German stack but with only two air moves they decide to save them for rebases.

USSR rail a 4-2 ART to Leningrad.

The Soviet Union occupies Eastern Polaand. US shocked! The best US entry chit is removed!

Minor movement in China.

I don't like that massive great gap that is ANTWERP [X(] That looks like a hole that needs exploiting.

Already planned for. Next step is to debark BEF.

CW debarks three units into Antwerp.

Yes. The CW should have plugged that hole. Now, it's a matter of time before the Germans will start killing troops.

The BEF should have been deployed in Antwerp. Or is this chart before the BEF disembarks from te ships in the North Sea (if it's there...)

Germany force Romania to accept the Hungarian and Bulgarian land claims.

Germany declares war on Denmark and no US entry chit is drawn for this DOW. Denmark aligns with CW.

Denmark place 5 CP in Reykjavik and the remaining fleet is placed in Frederikshavn.

Axis high command examine the map carefully and then decide that it is time for Rundstedt to launch an offensive to crush the opposing forces in Belgium. Germany and Japan select a land impulse. Italy continues with their combined impulses but they could really pass as they have yet to do anything at all in this game.

vRundstedt is right. It's now or never. If the weather holds for another turn and those Belgians are out of the way, things will become very, very bad for the French...
