close and exit

The File menu gives you the option to close WiF, and to exit WiF.

Is there any functional distinction between these two commands?

Yes. Exit terminates the program. Close goes back to the opening screen.

Ah, thank you. Since I start the game directly from the application, rather than the opening screen, I did not notice the difference. Again, thanks.
