Tax income not as high as it should be in empire summary.

My colony shows 13k income from taxes, but my empire overview shows 8k income. What might I be missing?

Hmm, I changed it to 20% and now it is showing up correctly... (Well, more correctly... colony shows 26k income, overview shows 22k income.)

I thought corruption took effect on the GDP, not on total after taxes?
Note the 0% corruption at my home planet.

The other planets have a tiny bit, but it shows it as taking it out of GDP.

Now one interesting thing is that the planets with 0% tax show a negative number, and those numbers add up to the missing amounts.
Why are they showing a negative number for tax revenue when its at 0%?
Screenshot shows a brand new colony with no corruption, -3.3k in tax revenue.

You did answered your question yourself:
+ 13K income - 3.3k income - x income = 8k income.
Really nice that the developer thought of the costs which a new colony has!

The colony costs some upkeep, and without taxes new colonies are a drain on your wallet.

But i do not know how colony upkeep is calculated, i guess its linked to planetary facilities, but even without any there are costs, and i suspect they are linked with population.

Also, the financial summary is a weird mix of estimated costs/income, last year costs/income, actual income from the beginning of the year. It's more of a guesstimate.
