Same engine as CWII, or a reworked one?

Post by terje439 »

As the title says, is this using the same engine as CWII, or has the engine been reworked?

Same engine. Tweaked for WWI. There are differences, but they are more subtle than fundamental. And some of them ("March to the Sound of the Guns," for example) don't work especially well at present.

It's a good game and will get better. But it's more a case of deja vu than eureka.

Feared that was the case. Too bad that engine does not like my PC then.

Thanks for the reply.

CTD issues. Some random in game, some when the map jumps from one location to another.

as reported in the CWII tech forum ;)
