It's ok, John. That Cribtop fellow isn't paying any attention. Just let me get a pen and you can detail everything. [8D]

I see...

I lost your Ship Sir. How utterly depressing! Truly hate to lose ANY warships in the opening 3-4 months but losing a BC is downright embarrassing...

Casualties are expected, John. The Allies have more teeth in these mods too. Still, try not to lose her three sister ships, eh? [:D]

A lot of people do not get that. I always hear how RA is JFB Dream. There is some truth to that statement but not a lot. Treaty favors the ALLIES with new ship additions and Between the Storms folds RA and Treaty TOGETHER creating--what I think--is a highly competitive, balanced Mod. There is great danger out there and you have certainly been smart to KNOW that in your game versus Michael.

Indeed. While the IJN is still stronger overall, the ability for the Allies to use new air and naval assets to inflict bloody noses goes up a lot, IMHO. The Japanese player must plan accordingly.

We have trun two week sof turns since I had the game issues. Now it has happened again. The game shut down TWICE in the exact same spot of 'Aircraft Supply' phase at the very end of the turn. Asked Lew to change a couple of orders and re-send the turn. He WANTS this to work since CL Marblehead and 3 Four-Pipers intercepted my CVLs and hit them with a single 6" shell each.

Not GOOD!

He just sent the turn back. We'll see if it works.

Same Turn, Different...

Post by John 3rd »

Lew changed a couple orders and re-sent the turn. It was TOTALLY different. No CVL ambush and I did not get a chance to sink one of his Dutch SS at Kendari. Turn ran so we're OK but I have real concerns regarding my install presently. This is what DID NOT happen.

As stated earlier I have not been Posting on this AAR due to my impending game with Cribtop. Just wanted to note that Lew and I are now at January 26, 1942 and have been getting in 1-2 turns a day.

The warning signs have been occurring over the last couple of weeks but this morning found my install folder completely non-operational. Have to do a full install and create an entirely new folder with all the tweaks and changes added to it. NOT FUN! We going camping Fri-Sat and coming home on Sunday so work cannot begin until then. Will jump on it and get things handled. Guess I cannot complain, I have been running on this computer's AE install for over 4 years...

Just wanted to let you know...
