PBEM mirror game

Post by Lorenzo from Spain »

Anyone wants to play PEBM, 1941 campaign?
I think that the campaign is unbalanced (as German is easier to win), so I propose to play two games. If in both games wins the Germans (or even the Russians), then will win who wined first. This way, there are not surrenders.
Í´d prefer to play the two games at the same time, in a “mirror game”. Then, we can compare de advance, the defense, the air strategy and tactics...
Preferable too some experience in PEBM, please. Except Josan: he defeated me during 30 games. (Too good player to me, sigh)

I don't agree that it is easier for the german player.
I am playing 3 games one with russians and 2 with germans.
As russian I free the baltics and odessa and I am many hexes west of Kiev in the beginning of 1942.
As german, once the russian player makes a good defense line, I can't advance I have big losses (50 tanks for a corps i a big loss for germans). Their tanks ar worthless against T34 and KV1 and german production is too low.
The only way to advance is to find where russians did not have the time to put well prepared divisions and attack there

And what about blizzard? A disaster for germans

Maybe I am a bad german commander...
