Background music

I am having a problem with background music in Panzercorps. I cannot stop the music when I am playing the game. I turn the slider down to the lowest setting and the music goes quiet but after about 90 seconds the music starts again at the original sound level even though the slider is still set to minimal. No matter how many times I try this the music keeps coming back on and it's driving me nuts. The only way I can play without music is to turn my speakers off. I am running the game in full screen mode in windows XP. I have several other Matrix games on that PC but I have no problem with those games. Any suggestions please !!!!!!

Probably you'll have a 3rd party program interfering with the game.
The easiest way to fix the issue is to rename the "Music" folder on "Panzer Corps\Audio". You can rename it to "_Music". This way the music won't be playing for sure.
