Heavy fighting in front of Kharkov. The flank north of Stalino is becoming worrisome. I move my Panzer Corps in Stalino out of the city to counter-attack and block his advance.

he's doing well in the south, but I've come to the view that pushing up to the Mius line is a bit of a false gain as its such an easy pocket with the Sea of Azov as one flank?
Surprised you let Rzhev go, the rivers make it quite defensible against a north-south offensive, but presume you are not prepared to give up Moscow?

I follow this rule of thumb in the first blizzard as well. It's the best place to stop the Soviet offensive in the South especially if the area can be fortified in late 1941. It's also a good starting position for the 42 campaign.ORIGINAL: Oshawott
Holding Kharkov is my top priority.
