Scenario building help

Don't know where to put this I hope this is the right place.

At the moment I am trying to build a scenario and I am very new to the game as I have only had it a few days. So far I have most of the units and the essential stores in magazines, but so far the enemy has not sent 1 aircraft up to attack me and I have flown over there airbases. The 2 sides are set as hostile to each other but still nothing.

The events and triggers I have had a little play with but nothing there seems to get the reds to attack me. Is there something I have missed?

These forums dont seem to have a tutorial on them or anywhere with help as I used the search function and could not find anything. If anybody can help me I thank you in advance.

You need to create missions in the mission editor which are scripted behaviors. Not to push the manual but it does give a good overview of how things work. Another good thing to do is open up and existing scenario and look in the mission editor. There should be some great examples of mission there.
