That appears to be a Hurricane in the background, our spies had told us they were equipped with them.

It's working fine at the moment and I've got most stuff backed up, but it kept crashing, first IE and then Windows. I got a new tower anyway, but it's Windows 7 instead of the Vista I was on so I expect I'll have trouble getting back to full operations. Also it's 64-bit instead of the 32 I was using. I thought Tracker or something wouldn't work on 64 bit.

I ran a Services Repair maybe that fixed it? Or it could be a power supply problem but I don't think so.

I have a 64 bit Windows 7 and run WitP:AE and tracker with no problems. We can make it work.

A Dell? Oh well, we should still be able to get it to work. [8D]

I clone off my hard drives every 18 months or so. You need another computer, two SATA to USB connectors. External enclosures bought without drives in them work. A new hard drive as well as a few hours on another computer and some software like Casper. Once you hook up the hard drives to the other computer and start Casper, it takes care of the rest. Pop the new one in the computer and it will be like nothing happened.

The computer I'm writing from right now was original built in 2001 running Windows 95. I've changed out the hard drives many times as well as the mother boards. I've upgraded OSs a couple of time and going from the DOS based Windows to NT based Windows I had to reinstall all the programs, but I was able to keep all the settings because of the cloning. Changing mother boards is a pain with NT based Windows. I wouldn't recommend that unless you have some decent computer skills. If you don't get the drivers right, it won't boot.

I've done it the old fashioned way. I already had a remote hard drive and I've copied everything I think I might need to there and will move what I need to my new PC. Thanks for the tip about Casper, I'll look into it.

I do believe I'm in business. I'm having trouble with tracker and I don't want to begin until I've got that fixed. Here's the error message. I did paste a copy of the pwsdll.dll file from the Beta2 folder to the main folder.

510 hits and no turn? Wow. [:)]

You can't use an up-to-date Java. You need Ole Dirty Bastid Java.
