Can the Axis troops move into Yugoslavia?

I am asking because I pushed some units into Yugoslavia. But according to the manual they will be out of supply and can only move out of the country.
When the first in supply Soviet unit moves adjacent to the Bulgarian or Yugoslavian border, that country automatically surrenders and becomes a "total exclusion zone" for both players. No movement of any type may be made into a total exclusion zone and supply may not be traced through a total exclusion zone. Any Axis unit in the applicable country at the moment of surrender (or any unit of either side subsequently forced to retreat into the country) may move out of that country, but may not move back in once it has moved out.

In an old game I had a few quirks when dealing with these borders. If I remember correctly a few German units retreated into the 'bad' territories. I seem to remember that they were then stuck and could not go back (The Romanian border may have been Russian held). Or other non satisfactory result.

I think there is an issue to address but not exactly clear what it is.

German units in Yugoslavia can move within Yugoslavia but are out of supply.

I capture Rostock and advance to the outskirts of Magdeburg. Berlin is firmly encircled. Weird to reach the western edge of the map.

If you capture Magdeburg does that cut off the whole German army from supply?

Linz is also a permanent supply source.

Oshawoot, it is fitting that the last major soviet move of this campaign leading to the fall of Berlin is a Blitzkrieg-style pincer move... Sweet payback for 1941...
If it wasn't for the map edge, you may be visiting STEF's house outside Paris before General Leclerc gets a chance to ride into the city. The Cossacks would be camping on the Champs de Mars, and Alexander I would be redrawing the map of Europe. Oh wait wrong war-game :)

Good job both of you for making it that far.
And come-on Oshawoot, you have to reach the 10M OOB !! (does one get a prize for achieving that?)

NEVER! [:)] The only reason why my numbers are so high is that the front is ridiculously long with STEF still holding the Carpathian mountains.

LOL. You are dangerously close :)
I guess STEF decided not to do the Berlin bunker thing as the soviets run over Germany, but decided to go skiing in the Carpathians instead.
Even in charge of nazi Germany, he remains very french :)

T162 - Germany

Berlin pocket is reduced. In the process two German leaders get killed due to HQ displacement. Further west Magdeburg is occupied and the divisions north of the city will be cut off from supply. Leipzig and Chemnitz are isolated.
