Information has come on down from on high. Turns out that the Kommandantur of our beuten Panzers one J Bär is a very good friend of General Halbkett seems they shared a pick nick basket at a "Kraft durch Wasser" festival at Willi's place a few months back and became good friends.

We got it arranged. If we keep supplying the hooch we will get a small but continuous supply of new and prototype vehicles.

Lets make some plans and that of course involves more PAPERWORK!!. I hate paperwork.

We know have a battalion organization that will take us to the end of September of 42. We have the upgrade in place for the battalion but plenty of time to decide what to upgrade to. Plans to expand into a Regimental sized Kamfgruppe are already being discussed at OkT.

A new and correctly updated Pionier Kompanie. Why they sent me a bunch of guys singing "♪ ♫I've been working on the railroad♪ ♫" Is beyond me.

I put together a nice post explaining what happened to my Battalion in the first two missions. OKM rejected my paperwork.[&:]

First four missions are done. Resounding successes except for the fact that my Battalion had very little to do with any of them. Undeserved medals were won due to the stellar service of about two companies worth of Combat Enginners as supporting troops.

Without them my losses which are running about 20 percent in the infatry catagory and 30 percent in armor would be even higher.

This organization is not a stand and fight org. Hack and slash. Fire and move. Keep the enemy off balance. Concentrate on one flank and make the enemy react to you.

Arrgghhhh!!! Paperwork problems!! Have I mentioned that I hate PAPERWORK!!!!!. I found a solution to my paperwork problem. Its all now going to OkM HQ marked "Attention Oberst Johann Schmidt" If there isn't at least a hundred Johann Schmidts at OkM.....


The Band is hampered by organization problems. Probably leftover from that guy General Halbkett replaced. Now Halbkett is a great guy, as long as he keeps receiving his regularly scheduled shipments of vodka that is. It's looking like if we want to upgrade in the future to a regiment and then brigade we have to at least shells of those two organizations in place before the campaign even begins.

Arrgghhhh double argghhhhh!!!!

Oberst Schmidt has a lot of work to do. Here's hoping he is up to it.

Ok for any of you following along at home lets do this. Go into your G01.OOB. Add the following lines at the bottom.

That now gets us a higher level org to upgrade to into the future. As it stands right now what we have is a one battalion brigade. That should keep the program from offering a higher level command until the Kampfgruppe is upgraded in Oct of 42.

For now Sonderverband Ost has been disbanded. I'm transferring to the Kriegsmarine. Too many oob problems to many upgrade problems.

A complete restart is needed to figure just why these bugs are happening in what appears to solid and valid OOB's.

Well now. Since I can't post screens for some reason we will " re band" [:D] the Sonderverband. I still have a little OOB work to do on it but I have ironed out the problems for it's org. It will upgrade when I want it to upgrade.[:)] The main feature of this DCG is that you get as cores units not available usually. You will get to play everthing such as Panther II's and Jagdpanzer VI.

Actung!! Schwerfälligen Bestie!!

The first half of it that is. You start off with a Battalion of a little bit of everthing in June of 41 and can, if you want, be in command of small Panzer Division in June of 44 facing the Soviet hordes.

The second half. Uncharted territory. Extending the DCG into 1946 and beyond as a what if. I have not tested this yet. I have another DCG almost ready except that it starts in 1938. Outside the original time frame of JTCS. The problems with this DCG are legion and are not fixable by me. What will happen as soon as June of 45 rolls along is any ones guess.

I will be posting the files needed to run this DCG here in a couple of days at the latest. If you are interested in helping in any way or testing for problems please let me know. I would definitely appreciate the help.
