Ahhhhhhh....my wife was a college student of mine....

I was getting divorced and VERY angry over that. Didn't like the FAIRER HALF at that point. Paula told her friend (when I walked into the classroom back in the fall of 2000) that "I'm gonna marry that man." TRUE story. She pursued and we got married 18 months later and that is now 14+ years ago. Life is pretty strange...

Paula 'tolerates' my addiction to AE. The thing that scares her is my 10-Year Old wants to learn how to play it. He can identify ALL the different American WWII fighters and knows the difference between an Oscar and a Zero. Is THAT when you are an addict. You pass it on down a generation???

No, that is being a great Dad. Long after the wheel of time has ground all of us reading this tread today down to dust, hopefully your son will have a warm memory of something he shared with you when seeing "ancient" documentary films of a war more than a century past and in his turn pass that on to his children.

Your a lucky man having a kid interested in AE. My oldest daughter is interested in military history to a point. She did want to go to the airforce museum the last time she was out here. We went and spent a lot of time in the world war two display area talking about different things. She has watched Band of Brothers with me several times. Both of my daughters played and were very good at Call of Duty. My youngest played a couple of games of Campaigne series, west front with me. DanSez is correct....GP

John read Rising Sun, Falling Skies a month r two after I did and he LOVED it. The kids actually understood everything written. His commentary was excellent and his reaction was--this is pretty depressing Dad!

I was wondering if it's possible to add more time to the day? I figure I need at least another 4 to 6 hours for AE time.[:'(][:D][;)][8D]. Or maybe just a therapist.....GP

The Fighting Seabees' was a good movie. I am currently playing 2 AI games while I wait for December 7th. The start of my BTS PBEM game with juang. Plus playing around with a personal mod. Haven't really though about the story line for it yet. Then i'm looking and playing around with RHS some. Just got tracker to work also. Plus cooking for my wife and daughter, who is still home. WORK at 2 restaurants. YES, I love STRESS.[:D]....GP
