Eastern Renaissance

In the age of Pike and Shot, mighty struggles erupted across Europe for causes religious, political or dynastic. The Thirty Years War raged across Germany and beyond, leaving devastation in its wake, but saw the rise of great commanders such as Count Tilly, Wallenstein and King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, and rapid developments in battlefield tactics.

Eastern Renaissance

Looks interesting...I'd be more interested if it had the potential for combat between the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Swedes, Russians, Turks, Hungarians with a little Cossack rebellion thrown in for good measure. I suspect the focus of the game would have to shift from infantry to cavalry.

I would also like to see this era covered. Maybe they will do it in an expansion?

Actually, in Skirmish mode, one can play as the Poles vs many other factions, but not Russia--at least not yet.

The random map/scenario generator accessed via the Skirmish button does a great job at building interesting battles.

Skirmish mode does include Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth, Swedes, Ottoman Turks and Transylvanian/Hungarians, but not (as yet) Russians.
