Intitial Attack Skirmish force settings?

In the age of Pike and Shot, mighty struggles erupted across Europe for causes religious, political or dynastic. The Thirty Years War raged across Germany and beyond, leaving devastation in its wake, but saw the rise of great commanders such as Count Tilly, Wallenstein and King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, and rapid developments in battlefield tactics.

Intitial Attack Skirmish force settings?

Post by jack54 »

I just got smacked around again by the AI. This time during the English Civil Wars.

I played the attacking Royalist (1643-1644) and was supposed to have the numerical advantage. The AI Parliamentarian (1643-1645) forces actually left there defenses and wiped my forces out rather easily.

Question: End game stats say the Defending Parliamentarian force actually outnumbered my attackers 6300-4800. WAD?

Difficulty 2 with default points (Royalist 855-Parliament-810)

Thanks!

Infantry units are considersbly larger than cavalry units, so an inferior largely infantry army may be larger than a mainly cavalry army
