Well as much as I want the game out, I'm happy to wait until it's ready. I've had enough buggy, rushed games that are ultimately a disappointment. Please take your time and get it right.

According to Kirk's post above it has been ready for a few weeks but nobody has bothered to release it yet.

Me thinks: That Slitherine is pushing some other game about WW1, for there have been 3 or 4 similar era games recently in the offering out there.

Not that the patch its not ready, but it seems that my password for the multiplayer suddenly its not good, so no multiplayer either.
well to be honest i never trought that delivering a patch to steam its taking 1 month, especialy a beta.
for the final realease probably we will wait 3 month!
Very unproffesional

^ What he said, why the Steam version first with no indication when the Matrix / Slitherine version is due or even any indication bar the above on the publishers website that the new version is now out even if only via Steam [:@]

Just go under properties/beta on Steam, and enable the beta option.

To be more detailed, register your game, go to Slitherine.com, get a Steam key if you don't have one, enter that in the "add a game bit in Steam and bob's your uncle.

Or register your game, go to Slitherine.com, create a Slitherine account, register your game again, get a Steam key if you don't have one, create a Steam account enter that in the "add a game bit in Steam, re-download a game you already have on your hard drive bought directly from the publisher, download the beta from Steam and bob's your uncle, for a game you bought from Matrix.

Now I've already got Steam so yes I can cut out a bit of the above but why on earth has the Steam beta come out before the Matrix beta, and I also rather suspect that the weeks of delay in getting the beta at all may have something to do with getting it on Steam as well.

Not great customer service for Matrix customers.

This, rather than hoops, how about just put the patch up on Matrix?

Agreed. This is really unimpressive - added to which there seems to be a major bug with winter fighting. I think I'll pass..... What a shame.
