Question about Windows Vista and game speed

I am sure this has been covered here many times. But haven't been to the site in years.

Having problems running the game in Windows Vista. Read some of the posts about it but nothing seems to work. If anyone can offer a good suggestion would appreciate the help. Game runs way too slow and nothing I try seems to work all that well.

It's almost certainly not Vista, but having multiple processors and possibly some interaction with the video card. There is a bug in the DirectX calls used in the game with multiple processors.

You will need to play around with the command line arguments.
