Is there a way to get the PBEM system to let you know when someone has had their turn ?

Do you mean PBEM++ or classic PBEM?

PBEM++ Does, if you've entered your email address when registering.

OK, how do I update my record ? It only lets me create a new one and when I go to save says 'That serial number already registered'.

Stephen, Try taking this to the Matrix help desk since it deals with serial numbers and emails. They should be able to resolve this issue. It's beyond our influence here.
