CP Sentry Status

Is anyone else noticing that in the new Public Beta CPs seem to be going "off sentry" a lot more often? In the Stay at Sea step I am finding a lot of CPs losing their sentry status.

I am not sure why but I may have noticed that if you have CPs from the same country that are not merged then some of them go off sentry.

Someone had reported that splitting convoys would cause the newly formed convoys to no longer have Sentry status. I have it on my list of things to investigate.

FWIW... I can only split convoys if I first take them off sentry. Sentried convoys have never been splittable for me. However, I sometimes I have to split and merge them several times before I'm able to put any back on sentry duty.

The OP's problem could also be that he's selected to send unused convoys home, maybe.
