OK, seriously, we at the Make A Dish Foundation support the idea that impoverished babes should be given as much exposure as possible. So let's all pull in unison (but not simultaneously) and get this done.

Singapore: I am surprised only 5 Vals were lost; Singapore is a AA trap.
Plus his carriers are too close! with some luck they will react into the coastal guns and mines

Why on earth were all those ships still sitting in Singapore harbor on the third day of the war?

If he'd evaced on day 2, the KB was set for naval attack, they would've been slaughtered. Today the Kates remained on naval attack. He got 5 Vals out of it.

I am curious what you would have done? With KB sitting next to Singapore I was lucky to got Force Z out.

I playtested it three times, once with Force Z running north, once south and once stayed in port. Sank it every time. [:(]

You still sank quite a few ships that normally get away.[:)] Just bad luck on Force Z.[:(]

I think a reliable way to save Force Z is to run south to Muntok, disband in port prior to the day's air strikes. Then on day two either make for Batavia and 40 fighters flying Cap or shoot to go thru two narrows and head west to the Indian Ocean thru the gap at Merak/Oosthaven.

They can be hard to save, especially from a Japan that tries hard to nail them.

Or you can rely upon luck, which is what seems to have happened here. Good luck for the Allies, and bad for Japan.

Taking Bengkalis was pretty nifty. A very swift and mericifull opening.
