1 year on and .......

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

1 year on and .......

Ok it has been almost a year and we are still waiting. Please take the time you need to keep the same fine standards we have grown accustomed too. Could we get a rough ETA on when the game will be released +/- 3 months or so?

Thanks!

I check daily, sometimes more often. All's quiet on the Western Front.

I'm really looking forward to this one. But yes, I would love some updates just to tease me along...

Yeah, after a certain point, saying: "Oh, I'm FAR too busy over the course of over a year to spend even a couple minutes to try to keep people informed or enthusiastic," comes across more as either out of touch or "Eh. Can't be bothered. They'll buy it anyway."

But I may have been spoiled by all the other indie devs who realize that building community enthusiasm and interest helps sales. [:'(]

On the other hand.... I will buy it anyway, so... [:(]

for me it's great as the more it's on, the more that will see it and reply and hopeful buy it when released, as without sales nobody will make others, so then we all lose out, this is maybe why most games are going to steam, a bigger target audience for more sales so then we all get more games, so for me it's a win win

It will happen when it happens :)

Some games are all blather on and on and then they arrive.

Some games take time, and they arrive when they are done.

Hey I thought World in Flames was the ultimate in wargame equal of Duke Nukem for the longest time. But it arrived.

Some things just take time.

Granted, I think waiting for an AI worth waiting for, for World in Flames, is the mark of a really funny individual.

I don't know if the AI in SC3 will be worth giving a hoot for. The AI in SC1 wasn't worth a damn either, but the game was still awesome if you played it as all humans and cut the AI out of the picture.

I'm looking forward to this release, but, I can wait.
Wargame, 05% of the time.
Play with Barbies 05% of the time.
Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

The AI for AoD is not too bad. I've been playing SC since 2001 and it took me till the Autumn of 44 to finally get a major victory and this is the first time I've played the AI in years and it wasn't on the hardest settings(just expert +1). The AI is still dumb at times, but it was a good exercise in refamiliarizing myself with the mechanics and I was mildly entertained.

Shhh! It was like yesterday, not 13 years ago. Don't let the kids know us geezers have been playing this game for this long! LOL [:D]
