Post by congooo »

i juat got into toaw again.i didn't know you could mod the old gui.
so i,ve been trying out the different mods makes a great difference on the eyes.
but i just want to mod that small little attack indicator that pops up in the corner.Might try and make it bigger or stick something coming out of it so i can see it easyer .
trouble is i can not find it.
so where is it is it a .png image.or something else, and can it be modded.
thanks

If I understand what you're looking for, it's "Arrowheads.bmp" and "Arrowheads.png".

yes that worked great thanks.
it was all a huge coincidence because i had edited that arrowheads.png but at the same time loaded into altgraphics a new mod.i forgot toaw would look in altgraphics first. so i thought my edit had not worked.
i then took the mod out and the attack indicator was black.which is what i wanted.but i then thought it had been black all the time.
i then spent hours trying to isolate the correct .png file but of course i had rejected the arrowheads one cos i thought it hadn't worked early. and so on till i thought sod it ask someone on matrix.

i have yellow counters cos its china and i didnt like that golden little attack indicator even in huge size still couldn't really see it nice..so i made it black and twice as big.and plan to do a much bigger version for the small unit view.so when i,m zoomed out i hopefully will be able to see easy vast area,s of units and if they are attacking or not.
