Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm gets Player’s Edition!

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Thank you, sir!

No - never thought double-dipping. I just know you guys have been talking about a new product and I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting my wires crossed.

Thanks for the info.

Great, a good excuse to jump again into the game [&o]

I am curious if is planed any patch more before South front release or the plan is do a all in one patch when SF is released.

But again good job [;)]

PD: maybe you can open a thread for SF??? a way to concentrate info and players suggestions for the new title??? for example release the game with 2-3 series of scenarios, 1st in late 80s and 2nd/3rd same scenearios of 1st but in diferent periods (late 70s, late 50s....).

Hexagon, we are using the Requested Features and Ideas subforum for the collection of ideas. If there are any game killer bugs in 2.06 we will issue small hot fixes to takes care of them. As for Southern Storm, it will have an 80s setting like Red Storm. At some point we will look to expand data sets to other time periods, but unlikely it will be out the door with Southern Storm (2.1).

Only a few scenarios in but 1.06 has Exceeded expectations!

Choppers are more fun now.... Urban battles seem much improved, longer, with more give and take... artillery is deadly again. I'm back to looking away from the monitor when there's incoming.

After being a 'tester' through 1.05 I really wasn't expecting this much of a difference. [:D]

Edit: I forgot to mention the MAPS... bravo William.

Edit: oops should be 2.06 and 2.05 thanks Capn.

Jack54, glad you like it. Only catch is we are on 2.06 from 2.05. We consider the old Flashpoint Germany to be the 1.X series of the game. [:D]
