Scenario Editor 2.06

Post by grab »

With 2.05 it was possible to refresh the underlying scenario data in the stock scenarios so that user created icons could be used. I have noticed that with 2.06 all of the stock scenarios are password protected again so it is no longer possible to refresh the underlying scenario data for the stock scenarios. It's it possible to change the password protection for the stock scenarios back to the 2.05 status please?

They should not be locked and they aren't in my beta version. I am downloading the new patch from Matrix to see if somehow locked versions made it into the official patch. Are you using the Matrix version or Steam. Also, which scenario was locked.
Thanks.

I just installed the Matrix patch and the scenarios are not locked. I was able to refresh a scenario and resave it under a different file name. I am wondering if there was a single scenario that was locked that go by us.

Was the scenario "Fulda Frontier of Freedom"? If so, that one is locked. It was made by a beta tester and included in the initial release with his permission. The person who made the scenario has the password and is the one to unlock it if he so desires. All official OTS scenarios should be unlocked.

Charles it was Black Horse and I'm using the Matrix version.

I have now completely uninstalled FPRS and completed a new install. Now I have access again.
