Spotted flag not being reset

Playing head-to-head on a scenario. Units get spotted and remain spotted, even after breaking contact and no enemy units can see them. Looks like the flag is not getting reset.

This is happening to both sides.

Jeff, is that a particular scenario or any? Was this from a fresh launch of the game?

Fresh launch of a user created scenario. Lemme try a stock one.

Fresh start, Tutorial scenario, head-to-head. Both sides remain spotted after breaking LOS. Shows this on unit counter and in the unit info display.

Fresh start, Tutorial, NATO. After breaking LOS, NATO unit shows as spotted. Soviet unit disappears. FSCC engages a previously spotted unit (and now invisible) unit after it moves down the road.

Also, FSCC does a fire mission at detected enemy arty fire. Next turn, repeats mission, but it is against unidentified unit. Looks like the arty unit remains spotted and gets re-engaged as a random U/I unit. Not as a counterbattery target.
