Error message when starting P&S

I'm getting the error message Missing_IDS_New_Version_MSG when I start P&S. I have run the check for update which tells me there is a new version but then it won't or can't load the new version. I have checked there and slitherine for a manual update download and can't find one.

Had the the same problem after updating,saw on another thread that the Slitherine installer isn't working properly.

Check out the 'unable to update' thread on the Slitherine Pike and Shot forum,about halfway down there's a link to a zip file.Tried it and the game runs ok.

The auto update installer did not update properly.

What you have to do now is: uninstall your version and do a clean install. Wait till we say the auto updater is working correctly, please. Should be any minute...

As mentioned by kemmo, if you got the update via the download link, this version is fine.
