SPWAW Zoo

Post by Griefbringer »

It came to my mind from the recent Kittie-club mails that there is a real zoo located in the SP:WAW OOB's vehicle park. I know at least the following "animals":

Germans:
-Tiger
-Panther
-Nashorn
-Elephant

US:
-M8 Grayhound
-M29 Weasel

But there has to be a lot more that I haven't noticed - so please mention more, I want to make up a real zoo out of these!

Don't forget the "Puma" Armored car.

What, no one said "Firefly"? When I was playing Panzer Commander, I'd always toss shots at them whenever I found 'em - I figured they were just a light recon track and easy to kill. Imagine my suprise when I started playing SPWAW and found out what they *really* were.... <G>

Wow, seems like plenty of animals got their names transferred to the vehicles of various armies.

BTW. I read recently that Soviets named one of their big assault guns "Animal-hunter" because it could so easily take down the German Tigers, Panthers and Elephants.
