SPWAW and Win2K

Post by spnut »

Hi,

Will SPWAW run on Win2K? I was just wondering if I suddenly have a good reason to keep that old Win95 installation.

Thanks.

Someone asked that earlier. We had one person who had Win2000 on his machine and it worked.

Since it is NOT a DOS based game, and is compatible with all Windows programs to date, I see no reason why it should not.

That was the primary purpose of our spending three months converting it to Windows, just to cover this contingency and keep the game alive for years to come.

Don't throw the WIN 98 install away yet, Our sample size is too small to say it "works" on W2k yet...

I'll let you know as I normally run W2K 90% of the time.
