Unit disembarking

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Unit disembarking

Post by Tancrede »

As I read the whole manual, I did not see any explanation about mechanized infantry unit's disembarging at the end of each move. As you get a small pop-up window asking when do you wish your unit will disembarked, I would have like a small explanation of how it works. Ex.: if you put 0 hex, what that means exactly?

BTW, I love that simulation. Good job

Thanks for your help

There are a number of new features and tweaks covered in the What's New documents in the games root and documents folder. We will be posting a composite What's New document this evening that will be in the 2.08 update and covers everything back to the large 2.04 Update that had many new features. This will cover all of these items in detail. Should be a big help with your questions.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
