update button?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

There's an update link in the WITW folder on the Programs list.

Start - Programs/all programs -> GG WitW -> Check for updates
Alternative: use the update.exe from within the installation folder.

Eric already announced the button was forgotton somehow and will be delivered with the first patch.

Good news is there is no update too, so no update button is not that bad [:D]

Worst case scenario if you have no link nowhere and want to use the updater instead of manually updating the patch, you can go in your game main folder (I think default folder is something like C:\matrix games\gary gribsy war in the west but I did change it) and there you have an "update.exe" file. That's the one you want. And you can setup a link to it by right clicking and selecting "send to -> desktop (create shortcut)

The most complicated Matrix game now gets the most complicated update procedure! (Just joking, sort of.)
