Air Phase Resolution

Post by Dereck »

I know I asked this before and I thought I had it fixed but ...

When I resolve my air phase ALL I see is just the small pop-up in the lower right corner displaying the results. When I first started this game I was at least able to see quick flashes on the map of the locations of the actions.

How do I get back to that display too?

Thanks

What do you mean by quick flashes? If you mean the battle resolution you just have to increase the message settings again using the number keys from 1 to 7.

What I mean by quick flashes is bomb icons on the target hex while the attack happens, etc.

I've pressed 1 thru 7 and it still doesn't show anything different during the resolution phase.

What is the default setting/number?

Thanks

I think I understand some of the concerns here. By setting the message settings, you can go from "only the bottom right pop-up" to "central combat pop-up" with various degrees of details.

But when you dont have the "central combat pop-up", sometimes your screen stays somewhere in the map, you hear the action but cant see it, and sometimes you see these "flashes" with the mission's icons briefly appearing on target. I like this last way because I can see in real time where the enemy is striking, but I dont know which combination of settings allows me to keep it. My experience is that it randomly works the first turn then no more in the following turns.

Yes, that's affected by the message settings. The default setting is 2 or 3 I think.

I will try those two settings in the next two turns and see if that works.

Seems that air execution were set to none. There is a button in the top with 4 planes or shit-i short key. You may also trigger corresponding preference item.
