Just a note to let anyone know I'm available as a player if anyone decides to start up a new scenario in this. I'm tired of waiting for GD38 Game 15 to move along....lol

When Alexandre and Claus have updated GD1938 to the latest version, we will be starting a new game. Just add your name to the list. We are waiting foe Jose jld89 the Soviets in game 15, its been four days actually that is not a unusually long time for players to sit on turns[>:] myself winning or losing I play turns within 24 hours, I am used to playing games face to face so even a few hours seems like a long time. Imagine playing any board game where it takes days for one turn, or should I say one players part of that one turn. But that is the nature of PBEM personally I think we should all meet down at a pub or bar get some drinks in and play hot seat, by the end of the evening we will all be so drunk we won't care who is winning or losing[:)]

Thanks Irondude. Hope the new game starts up soon. I've played a lot of PBEM games over the years (Decisive Battles series, Combat Mission, Panzer Command), just to name a few. Usually always gone by the rule of thumb that if it was going to take me more than a couple of days to return a file, then you let your opponent(s) know, either by e-mail or the relevant public forum. On the other hand, this is probably the most complex game of all those that I've played at any great length, so I guess adding one or two days to my rule of thumb wont hurt....lol

The pub meeting playing hotseat sounds like a cool idea. Problem is I live on the other side of the world from Florida, so I'd have to come a long way!
