Steam Beta and the 1.06 update....

My game didn't automatically update via steam. Since I had opted in to the beta stream, I opted out at which point the v 1.06 update immediately installed. To confirm, I re-opted in, and the game reverted to build v1.05 b573.

Just an FYI for steam users - opt out of beta to play the latest version until they sort this out!

Thanks for posting this, Scott! I was about to inquire why I didn't have 1.06.

Also, a quick issue related to Steam and not Command: when I was on the Properties for Command in Steam and under the Beta tab, I wasn't able to click on the drop-down box initially but had to use my up/down arrows to select between "beta-" and "None-Opt out of all beta programs". Strange.

Has this been resolved in Steam yet so we can opt back in for beta patches without Steam reverting back to an earlier version?

I dont think that's an issue until a new beta patch arrives.

imho the beta option should contain the latest update, even it is non-beta.

Are there plans for the implementation of Steam Cloud (for savegames)or even a mod workshop for Scenario Packs?

Today Steam made an update of C:MANO ~12mb but it's still 1.06 (Build 624).

Now when i switch to "beta" in steam the game does not downgrade to 1.05 anymore.
Maybe a preparation for the next beta build? Anyway - thanks for always having the latest version when "beta" checked.

Hmm. Not anything we've actively been involved in but really know reason to down grade to 1.05.
