Persian Gulf Oil rigs?

Does anyone have any data on the location, size etc of Persian Gulf Oil platforms, rigs etc? Specifically I am looking at 1988 for a re-do of Operation Praying Mantis.

I have tried Google Earth, Google Maps and a few web searches but the best I can come up with is a fairly general map. Anyone out there with some detail?

I found 2 websites that might help rigzone.com and riglogix.com. Both are oil industry sites, but it looks like you'll have to be patient in using them to drill down for the data you want.

Yes, sort of. It is one of about 20 scenarios I am working (or not[8|]) on. It is part of a branch from the Northern Fury series, Feb 94. Toying with 'Indian Fury' where India takes advantage of the outbreak of a new global war and attacks Pakistan, at the same time as the Gulf gets torn apart by Iran doing the same. Through all of this, NATO elements are trying to limit damage, extract themselves, rescue Expats and keep out of a war with either India & Iran (or both). Meanwhile Soviet forces are stirring the pot, Pakistan is desperate and the Gulf states are on the ropes. The Oil Platforms are a focus for one or perhaps two of the scenarios planned.

Long story to say yes, but it’s on the back burner.
