Air Groups and Bases

Post by Dereck »

If I station an Air Group at a base belonging to another Air HQ will that air group remain with the original Air HQ or will it be taken over by the one owning the Air Base?

Thanks

It stays with the original HQ unless you change it, but with a penalty when doing maintenance (so best to change the HQ so they match).

Are these penalties listed in the manual? If they are I will wait until I get the manual in the next few days rather than try to find it in the PDF.

(Unless you want to mention a few)

8.3.5 in the manual:

In addition, air group units assigned to an air base
unit that are not attached to the same air HQ unit
will suffer approximately a twenty percent penalty in
aircraft maintenance.
