Hi, Noob question, install issue.

Hi guys,
just bought flashpoint red storm tonight and downloaded it.
(circa 450meg file).
When I click the downloaded exe file, nothing happens, ive tried running it on win xp serv pack 2 compatibility mode, running it as admin etc.
Nothing works.
It does basically nothing.
im running windows vista.
Any help is appreciated,

Have you extracted the exe file from the zip file you downloaded?

Hi mate,
its not showing as a compressed file, its showing as a 456 meg .exe file.

when i installed my matrix copy, i had to wait a fair bit of time until the installer started. maybe turn your AV off briefly while installing.

Noticed when i right clicked , it had been set to "blocked" by windows.
Unblocked and it ran no problems.
