East Front Line

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

The historical coordinate for that date. That way you can compare how you are doing versus historical.

In this example I am doing slightly worse than historical as the east front is one hex closer to Berlin than it was during this week historically.

The -1 for Soviet Potential means front is quiet. The higher the number the more likely a Soviet offensive and higher German losses.

This number is the number used during the first turn of each month to see if the Soviets are doing better than "historical" in which case the Allies get some victory points. So the number only changes once a month.

Thanks Chris. All this time I had assumed that meant how many divisions I had on the front, and how many I required.
