Turn 9: still winter

This time the crack stays open and we can begin to roll up the line.
But it also seems that the French are already giving up the line.
The numbers on the units in the line tell us there are not many defenders left there to do the job.

Turn 10
I step of my units of larg wolfpacks (4 subs) and start to form smaller units (1 or max 2 subs). Because once a unit is discovered, it’s very vurnable to air attacks.

Turns 1 to 10
And now some numbers after 10 turns played. Increasing my war footing from 80 to 98. Next turn it will be 100% .

Power level
Everything stays almost at the same level, except fighters which significant rises in numbers and bomber who decline lightly.

Turn 1-10
In details we see a decrease in numbers for regular Inf, heavy weapons and bombers (He 111).

On the other hand we increased significant horses, trains, fighters and a new subunit: Engineers.
And others saw a some increase.

Turn 1-10
Overall power level rise.
Kills are declining sins the polen champagne ended.
but losses don’t follow this trend. Probably to the losses of u-boots.

and what did this bring in production points.
Polen: Warchau: 4000, Danzig: 2000, Poznan: 2000, Krakow: 2000, Lodz: 2000, Lublin: 1000, totaal = 13 000 PP
Denmark; Kopenhagen: 2000, Arhus: 1000, Alborg: 1000, totaal = 4000 PP.
Frankrijk: Strasburg: 1000 PP
overall totaal: 18 000 PP. Producing at 10% = 1 800 PP or 1800 supplies

Turn 11: winter
Reached 100% war footage for Germany

Our major production, besides supply, goes to our Luftwaffe.

The flak 88 gives my Inf div some good protection against the French armour. Also some light flak for air defends. They will come in handy latter as air cover will get low.

Turn 11

Widening the breach in the Maginotline, while our armed forces our gathering and strengthen them self’s for the spring offensive.

Reproducing the blitzkrieg like in real may 1940 is not an option in this version of the scenario. It takes too long (2 turns = 2 months) for the German panzer forces to get through the Ardennes and hit Sedan.
Also the Allies now these moves and they don’t step into the trap.
That’s why I try to break the French line as early as possible, with as little losses as possible. Then in spring my panzer can rush thru and finish the job without fighting in urban (bunker), mountainous or other risky terrain.

Turn 12: winter
The French losses begin to mont.
Ours are on average exept for u-boots and a bit too much for fighters.

We keep building fighters.
Also art and armour for our offensive.

Turn 12: winter
The French line begins to cruble.
Spring is near and our panzer go to thiere starting positions.

The plan is to breakthru and go around the southern end of the Meuse. With the right speed and force we can trap a lot of French units now defending the Maginotlines southern end the city of Mulhouse.

I build powerful mobil SS units for flank protection.

Turn 12: winter
I leave some troops in Polen.
They suffert the most in the previuos campagne and are therefore not in great shape.
But if in the event Russia comes in early, they have to help out.

Some build up on the Yugoslavian border too.

Turn 13: winter
Operation France goes beter than expected.
It’s still winter and 25% penalty but I have to move my Panzer army forwards to exploit the breach in the French line.

The 2 army will cover the flank to the north, the 1 army that of the south, while my 4 panzer army drives thru and heads for Dijon.
