Admin points use?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Admin points use?

Post by ratprince »

Can someone help me with what I should be spending admin points on? I am playing as the WA and always seem to have massive amounts....

So what I do use them for is leader changes...but once the good ones are in I usually leave it alone.

I have changed a couple plane types out

I have ordered faster repairs in towns for ports, etc..

What else can you do with them? I just cannot possibly seem to spend them all

You can read page 107 in the manual. It's a list over actions you can do with admin points.

APs are used for:

1) Leader changes/promotions (promotions are triggered by appointing a leader who is not yet of the proper rank)

2) Expanding/building airfields

3) Priority Repairs

4) Creating Supply Depots

5) Creating Fortification Units

6) Manually upgrading aircraft

7) I am not sure if Support Unit manipulation requires AP any more or not

Hello

As allied in the campaigne yes. In some scenarios not. There are some units which are static. You can them buy "out". It cast also Admin points.

The axis side has a real sd problem

Admin points for the WA are essentially pointless-- you have so many, you are never restricted from doing whatever you want to do every turn.

For the Axis... good luck. [:D]
