The Matrix Holiday sale - 2014!

Post by wings7 »

I'm surprised not to see a thread on what people bought or are considering buying in this sale. I haven't picked up anything yet but I am considering these games [:)]:
1. Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! (boxed)
2. Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue (boxed)
3. Officers - The Matrix Edition
4. Operation Barbarossa - The Struggle for Russia

I've been picking up good games on Steam and their Holiday sale [:)]...let's hear what you have picked up or are considering! Happy Holidays and Gaming everyone!

Nothing from Matrix this year. War in the West absorbed my games budget.

I've only folded once on Steam; Supreme Ruler Ultimate when it dropped under a tenner.

1. Decisive Campaigns; Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris.
2. Gary Grigsby's War in the East together with the 2 expansion packs.

They should keep me occupied for awhile!

Flashpoint and Case Blue so far on Matrix. I will probably get one more before the end but not sure yet as there are so many good games available. Also, I bought Rome II on steam. I will have plenty to keep me busy this year. [:D]

I started out thinking I was finally going to get WITP:AE, then WitW released and I looked into it more, which ultimately led to me trying to pick between WITP:AE, WitW, and WitE. So after all that, I got WITP:AE, Panzer Corp - Allied Corps (poor man's WitW [:'(]), and DC: Case Blue (which sounded like a better game than WitE). I also picked up Gates of Troy.

Damn I almost got that too. How is it Herston. Is it like Distant Worlds in that it will play automated?

Nothing from me Patrick.

I got War In The West before Christmas, and that + MWIF are all I can manage at present.

Picked up Revolution Under Siege and will probably grab Rise of Prussia before it ends.

Wings7 - Don't buy "Officers." It is truly bad. DC Case Blue is best by far. IMO, of course :)

I bought War in the West right after I took a temporary job and then knew I was getting a permanent job, but that was just really only about 2 weeks ago.

Waiting for my pensions to start to deposit cuz I'm broke at the moment :(

However, I'm thinking of picking up MWIF while it's on sale. I think that will be it for me. I'll wait till next year's sale to get War in the West.

Well, on the last day of the sale I picked up Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue (boxed), with a full color manual! [:)] Anyone else have any last day purchases?
