As said previously, if I open up USER - and make no changes - and save as Excel '97-2003 .xls, the game (2.08) won't read the newly saved USER document. I'm going to download OpenOffice and try that. Now, back to that PBEM!

rosseau, can you PM me and attach the file? I'd like to see if it open on my end and try to figure this issue out. Thanks.
