[ADDED v1.11] Feature Request-specify refueling tanker

It would be nice to be able to select the tanker aircraft for your plane or group to refuel. Sometimes your plane or group will choose the farthest tanker to refuel when you order it to refuel or when it wants to refuel.

Actually, I like harpoon's method of just having the plane intercept the tanker when it worked which was not often.

I so love it when an AI problem report is submitted without a proper save to investigate it. I mean it's a piece of cake for us to precisely recreate the conditions and factors that may lead to the AI making a bad call.

FWIW, I've found IFR behavior to be much improved in the latest builds. I'd be happiest with some sort of tanker dialog mechanic where you can explicitly assign a/c to tankers, but what's there now works pretty well.

One thing I'd like, too, is the ability to suppress Bingo RTB on aircraft groups and missions. This is because if I have tanking assets available to support the homeward leg of a long mission I don't want a/c breaking off their mission because they're going Bingo.

Besides, there may be occasions where operational requirements are more important than aircraft/pilot survival.

As long as we're putting out Tanking wish lists, I wish there was a way to specify what aircraft a tanker would accept. Any time I put up a tanker with allied forces on the map, they all want to suck my tanker dry and then my strike aircraft have no return tanker.

If its your scenario open the editor and set the correct ROE for the allied unit side (you can do this by side so no need to click through all). If its somebody elses scenario let them know and they'll update.
