Strategic Res. Amount on Map

Post by jhdeerslayer »

Sometimes I see a numerical value on the map in each German resource hex where the amount of Manpower, etc. will be indicated. But I can never seem to repeat how to get this value to show during manual Strategic AD creation or other times. I'm missing something here...

Can you post a screenshot please? I'm not quite sure what numbers you are referring to.

I will as soon as it shows up again. When I have Factory (shift L), on and during my Strategic AD set up, in some mode/menu numbers pop up showing the amount of one resource in the factory hexes. It seems Manpower is the one I see...

This is it! How do you get these numbers to show and select what they show?

I was afraid you'd ask that. I came across it by accident as well.

I suspect it's the number of strategic targets in each hex. It shows up for me when I have a selected bomb city target, then I click "select hex" again. The numbers come up before I've selected a new hex in an existing bomb city AD

What targets do you have selected for your strategic bombing? Those numbers over Germany show how many targets in those hexes according to what you have set to target. The picture with the airfields in England, those numbers are for the air units at those bases.

I've looked thru the manual and from what I can see those red numbers have something to do with the aircraft at that base when you select an air group from the air group assignments screen, maybe similar aircraft types at those bases as the one you have selected?
