New player and Command v1.06 update

My name is Allen Hartzell, and I am new to Command, having received it for Christmas. I have downloaded the v1.06 update, but have a question on installing it. I have installed the game on a stand - alone computer (no Internet access). Where do I need to place the zip - file to make sure that the upgrade installs correctly? Thank you for your help.

Should just be an installer that installs the update into the game folder, so you just need to designate the right Command folder (should do that automatically) when it runs.

To add onto Coiler's post.

1. You will need software to unzip the .zip, 7zip is what I use.

2. Extract the files to the Command folder.

a. If you have the game through steam the default directory for command is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\[Command (may be wargame of the year edition or the original edition)]

b. If it's not through steam the default directory is "C:\Matrix Games\Command Modern Air Naval Operations"

c. Those are the two defaults, if you have command somewhere else then extract to that location.

3. Click yes when it asks you if you want to overwrite existing files.
