Moved to Madras and Attu some Mavis and Emilies in order to scout the possible arrival of the allied DS... that is another variable that we need to consider...the KB must be in a position to defend the convoys against the LBA but, at the same time, to guard itself from a potential attack from the allied navy...now that Ceylon is no more a threat he could try to be bold

In PDU OFF game the Night fighter sector is a MESS.
You must produce everything except the Myrth (who doesn't fit to any group and it's useless [:o]). From the Zero, to the Judy NF, from the Randy, to the Nick or to the Peggy... a bloody mess.
I cannot RnD them. Simply too many models. Will use this endo det for this operation and then I think i'll be forced to withdraw them...I just have those two experimental Irving planes and no more... so they will be serving just for the upcoming week

I would say that gives an advantage to the Allies to punish you in 43 with night bombing, but you have knocked the Allies so far back in India and Oz, that there is very little at risk! A benefit of your opening strategy!

While the allies keep on pounding Ceylon in order to keep it closed and while their minesweepers are opening the way through the minefields at Colombo, the japanese fleet keeps on getting closer to Madras. Undetected at the moment!

While Kunming gets reduced (forts down to 0) and while allied subs are spreading around everywhere, today we see some action in SOPAC.

The N1K1 (the only group i have) makes its debut and does wonders.
13 to 1 in his favour!
Took of from Rabaul, 40 Georges have swept Shortland, reducing the CAP above an allied cruiser squadron. Then, another new toy of the japs get its baptism of fire... the Lily DB...and does wonders too, crippling a british CA and damaging more ships...

KB is still undetected even if, I bet he's sniffing it...
Kunming is ready to fall...just one more push... The moment is perfect...if Kunming falls while we evacuate India, we could really have the time to clear western China before he can consolidate in Assam...

In SOPAC/SWPAC, the allies take their revenge. Allied units bombed Buin, while my DDs found a too strong force for their means... however the Judys arrived to save the day, sinking two DDs... the result of the day is 2 Japanese DDs traded for 3 allied DDs... not good, but it could have been much worse.

Incredibly Tricomalee, despite daily bombings, is repairing faster than he can damage it! The fields are open, even if the service is 99% damaged...but the runaway has only 11 points of damage...I may try something here...[:D]

Well I don't think there will be a lot of transports sunk unless the KB Zeroes all get shot down. There's just no way that the Allies will have coordinated naval strikes that can get through heavy CAP. But the Allied fighters all sweeping against the KB Zeroes are going to cause some real damage given a few days of unrestricted sweeping. Its certainly possible if this OP drags on too long that a bunch of transports do get sunk if the KB fighters dwindle too much.

On the 30th the allies got lazy and didn't send enough bombers to Trico. Only SDB and TBFs...and lost 9 to flak! The base wasn't damaged, so the engineers repaired the railways... a good moment to recapture the air space over Trico! On the 31st we've moved 280 fighters there...and when the allies got back, we were waiting for them. Only sweeps...but we exchanged a good 1-1 ratio against Corsairs and P-40Ks.
Georges appeared over Woodlark Island ad shot down 10 enemy fighters for no loss[8D]

More ships are arriving at Maras...the KB is spotted now, east of Trico... among not less than 10 enemy subs... tense!

What's the status of Madras' air base? Would be nice to do the evac at a time when you can get some LBA CAP to compliment the KB CAP. Not to mention you can get away with it going badly as you can load up all the damaged planes into ships anyway.
