Von Richtofen bug?

I replaced Von Richtofen as head of Luftflotte 2. But when I try to appoint him as leader of another air HQ like I Jagd Corps, his name doesn't appear on the list. He's been sitting in limbo now for turns.

I had the same experience as DicedT with von Richthofen.

Setup:
Grand Campaign - Normal WA Ai vs Axis me

Maybe you can reproduce it, by setting the AP in the scenario editor higher to have enough to pay for his replacement in the first turn.
Try to dismiss von Richthofen from Luftflotte 2 - he simply dissappears and cant be choosen from the commanders pool again or assigned to another command.
That is really sad, because is has an high air rating (8) and would be better of commanding the Luftflotte Reich.

I bypassed it by moving Luftflotte 2 to Germany and using it as de facto Luftflotte Reich by transfering all units there.

Gary found some code that prevented high ranking air officers from taking lower positions. We've removed it. I don't expect this will be in the update we hope will go out this week, but should be in the next one after that.

If I remember right von Richthofen also could not join Luftflotte 3 or Reich...aren't they on the same level. Anyway awesome news and great to see you listening so much to the community - thx a lot 2by3!
