Actually you have to get your password set up before you enter. Contact Gil about that.

I was a beta tester for it and I'm glad they seem to be making progress. When I agreed to be a tester I thought it would move along toward completion in a reasonable time. Instead delay after delay, long periods of almost nothing and always being put on the back burner for another project. So I got tired of it and gave up when we all had to "re-apply".

That said though it is going to be a great game and a must have for me when it comes out. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys civil war games.

I hear you. It was certainly unfortunate that we kept having to delay BAB because of our obligation to finish other games (the two "Conflict of Heroes" releases). But I'm pleased to report that at the point we are close to wrapping up testing. I probably shouldn't say in public the completion and release dates that we and Matrix have discussed, so I will vaguely state that the number of weeks for testing can at this point be counted on one's fingers. And if we exceed that I will personally send you a free copy, taking the cost out of my royalties!

Hm - as far as I can tell, you have access to the private forum. Your tester application was approved and I don't see why it wouldn't be letting you in, unless you were not logged in to the forum when you clicked the link in the e-mail. If you look at the very bottom of the list of forums when you log in (make sure in the top right of the forum home page that it shows you are logged into your account and not as "guest") do you see the private forum?

I had the same problem when I was invited to Beta Test this game a few months ago. Tried and tried, but couldn't make it work.

I'd still like to help out if I'm needed if someone can help me figure out what the issue is.

One possibility: I have no problem logging in to post on the forum, but when I try to register my games, the very same user id and password doesn't work.

I am sorry to read about your troubles, and am glad that you posted. What you describe is a problem that Matrix can help with, so you should write Erik Rutins at the e-mail he provides above. We definitely could use more testers for this last push, not to mention that we will be providing additional scenarios and new features through patches post-release, and will of course need to test those.

If anyone else tried to join the team but for one reason or another was unable to get forum access, install the game, etc., please let Erik know.
