will any laptop rez work with this game with its native resolution?

I don't know about all resolutions, but my brother plays on his average laptop with no problems.

I'm actually trying to run this on my Surface 3...sort of bizarre native res @2140x1440 or something like that; the game starts, but I only see a portion of the screen and can't access any buttons to get past the welcome screen. It's like the display is shifted down and to the right.
The only problem with a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.
